What a week it’s been! On the heels of writing back-to-back-to-back articles about breaking news in the world of Down syndrome, I just realized I’ve been writing for allParenting for a whole year now.
I’m very lucky to be able to write about topics I’m passionate about — but I wouldn’t be able to do this if you weren’t reading my words. Thank you.
Thank you for the support, the “likes,” the shares, the tweets and the lovely messages that tell me I’m doing the right thing.
Want to check out this week’s craziness? I’m pretty proud of these articles:
- New details demand justice for Ethan Saylor
- Hey Today show: Down syndrome doesn’t equal heartbreak!
- Parents, experts react to Down syndrome research breakthrough
I’d love your thoughts on all of these… I hope that when I write, it’s with a voice fellow parents (of both typical kids and those with disabilities) can relate to, even if you don’t always agree (who would want THAT?).
Thanks again for a year of, well, my own sort of deliverance, I guess. I know I’m right where I should be!
